Arrive at Paro | Thimphu
Arrive at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check in at the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure and explore Thimpu.

Thimphu
After breakfast, visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue). With a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrangis is one of the must-visits in Thimphu. Visit National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. In the afternoon, visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery and Takin Preserve Centre, the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here. Later, visit Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion).

Be mesmerized by the marvelous Buddha statue that sits amidst the Himalayas of Bhutan overlooking the Southern entrance to Thimphu Valley. This popular temple, perched like a fortress on a ridge above central Thimphu, hums with pilgrim activity. It was established in the 12th century on a site chosen by Lama Phajo Drukgom Shigpo, who came from Ralung in Tibet. Parents traditionally come here to get auspicious names for their newborns or blessings for their young children from the protector deity Tamdrin . Children are blessed by a phurba and given a sacred thread.

The Memorial Stupa, Thimphu, also known as the Thimphu Chorten, is a stupa in Thimphu, Bhutan, located on Doeboom Lam in the southern-central part of the city near the main roundabout and Indian military hospital. The stupa, built in 1974 to honor the third Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck , is a prominent landmark in the city with its golden spires and bells. In 2008, it underwent extensive renovation. It is popularly known as "the most visible religious landmark in Bhutan".
National Textile Museum
National Textile Museum
The Bhutan Textile Museum or the National Textile Museum is a national textiles museum in Thimphu, Bhutan, located near the National Library of Bhutan. It is operated by the National Commission for Cultural Affairs. Since its establishment in 2001, the museum has generated national and international attention and has garnered a substantial collection of antique textile artefacts, exclusive to Bhutan. The objective of setting up the museum is to promote Bhutan's achievements in the field of textile arts and to sustain and promote interest of the weavers to continue the traditional textile patterns.

Famously known as the “the fortress of the glorious religion”, Tashichho Dzong, or Thimphu Dzong is a magnificent structure that houses the Bhutanese government. Nestled along the Wangchu River, Tashichho Dzong is one of the most popular and biggest iconic spots in the city. The beautiful rose garden, the alluring landscapes, and the charming structure is a must-visit spot in Thiumphu.

Thimphu | Punakha/Wangdue
After breakfast, drive to Punakha/Wangdue. On the way stop at Dochu-La-Pass (10334 ft) to take in the beauty the Himalayas. Arrive at Punakha and check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong - built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952. After that take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang - The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Spend the evening at leisure.

Dochula Pass is a sight to behold and one of the most beautiful passes in Bhutan. The enchanting pass lies at an altitude of about 10000 feet and has a picture-perfect scenic beauty. The Chorten at the pass adds to the beauty of the pass. They were made in the memory of Bhutanese soldiers killed in 2003 war against insurgents from India, and to honor them these beautiful Chortens were made at Dochula Pass overlooking the enthralling Himalayas. Dochula Pass lies on the way to Punakha from Thimphu, and it is undoubtedly a must-visit spot in Bhutan.

Punakha is the old capital of Bhutan has some of the most beautiful spots to explore. Punakha Dzong is one such place nestled along the confluence of pristine rivers, Mo Chhu, and Pho Chhu, amidst the Himalayas. The Dzong servers as the administrative and religious center of the region now. Punakha Dzong is said to be the largest Dzong in Bhutan with excellent architecture. It is in its best during the Punakha festival, and for an exhilarating experience, it is the best time to visit this beauty.

Nestled atop a hill in the heart of the valley, Chimi Lhakhang was built in the honour of Lama Drukpa Kuenley who was loved amongst his students for his teaching methods. Famous as Fertility Temple, Chimi Lhakhang is one of the major tourist spots in Bhutan.

Punakha/Wangdue | Paro
After breakfast, transfer to Paro. On the way visit the Tachog Lhakhang – situated between Thimphu and Paro and it was built in the 13th century by Thangthong Gyalpo. He is also known as the Iron bridge builder. Situated on a hilltop, we have to cross an ancient style bridge to reach the temple. On arrival in Paro, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha. Rinpung Dzong - Meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro.

Tachog Lhakhang is the most iconic spots in Bhutan! Tachog Lhakhang, also known as the Tamchoe Monastery, dates back to the 15th century is nestled atop a hill between Paro and Thimphu. The best part about visiting this monastery is that you have to cross the famous iron bridge across the river to make your way to the alluring temple. Visit this beautiful temple and discover the mystery behind building the temple. The symbolic bridge is one the most photographed places in Bhutan and definitely, a must visit spots in Paro.

Ta Dzong is the place to unravel the legends and myths of Bhutan. Make your way to the National Museum of Bhutan and know more about the country’s ancient prestige. The conch shell-shaped structure was reopened as a cultural museum in 1968 and preserves Bhutanese architectures, artifacts, relics, and Thangka paintings.

Paro
After breakfast, hike to the famous Taktsang Monastery - called “Tiger’s Nest” (2 hours hike from the base camp). Later, visit Drukgyel Dzong and Kyichu Monastery.

Taktsang Monastery or Tiger’s Nest is one of the most sacred and symbolic places in Bhutan. Perched on the side of a cliff with the backdrop of Paro Valley, a hike up to the monastery is an experience in itself. The legends says that that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery and hence it is called "Tiger's Nest". Take the incredible journey and hike up for 2 km on the trail that offers majestic mountain views and verdant valley and unveils the mystery of tales of the Tiger’s Nest.

Travel Basics
- Any customized/recommended tour itinerary posted on the website is only a proposed holiday outline. We are not holding any confirmed hotel reservations for your travel. The same is subject to availability at the time of booking. The quotation might change based on actual availability of the service.
- Indo Asia Holidays will inform you of any change in prices and only after your confirmation, proceed with booking. Cost will not be refunded for any un-utilized services.
- Weekend or other surcharges may be applicable over and above the package cost for the requested period. Indo Asia Holidays will inform you of such costs at the time of booking or before confirming the package.
- The client needs to make an advance payment as per the specific package terms at the time of confirming the tour and make the balance payment as per the payment conditions of the package.

Cancellation Charges Per Person
- You are eligible for a full refund for any cancellation request 30 days prior to departure. But, such a cancellation will incur a communication and processing charge of Rs. 2000 per pax.

- 24 – 20 days before departure: 50% of total cost
- 19 – 10 days before departure: 75% of total cost
