Take a stroll around the market and take in the beauty of a market at an altitude of more than 11,000 feet crowned with golden snow-capped mountains.
One of the most visited places in Ladakh, Leh Palace is perched on a cliff in Leh city. A former royal palace overlooking the magnificent Himalayan ranges of Ladakh, Leh Palace is the best place to get a glimpse of Ladakh’s architecture and history. One of the biggest tourist attraction in Leh from the 16th century, Leh Palace is undoubtedly one of the must-visit places in Leh.
The majestic Tibetan structures, Shanti Stupa is an epitome of peace in Leh, located on a hilltop at Changspa in Ladakh. It is one of the best examples of exquisite architecture. The white-domed stupa with a backdrop of mountains Shanti Stupa is one of the best places to get a bird’s eye view of the Leh city. After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Sham Valley, visit Likir, Alchi Monastery, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Hall of Fame museum and Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar & Indus Rivers). Overnight at Leh
At an altitude of about 12,000 feet, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib is a beautiful religious spot and a significant attraction around Ladakh on Leh-Srinagar Highway. It is said that in the 1970s, during the construction of Nimmu Road, a rock was found with prayer flags wrapped around it. When it became impossible to move the rock, it was concluded that it was the rock that was used to kill Guru Nanak, which turned soft at the time and left him unharmed. Hence, the Gurudwara was built around that rock. It is one of the most beautiful places in Ladakh and a must-visit.
Recollect the days spent in bringing glory to the nation at Hal of Fame. Located around 4 km from Leh city, the Hall of Fame was built to honour the soldiers who sacrificed their lives defending India in the Indo-Pak War. Maintained by Indian Army, the museum has seized arms and amenities of Pakistan Army, pictures and biographies of brave soldiers. A must-visit museum in Leh, Hall of Fame will take you to a different world altogether.
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (highest motorable road in the world at 18,380 ft). Post lunch, enjoy the camel safari at Sand Dunes between Diskit & Hunder Village. Overnight at Nubra Valley.

After breakfast, visit Diskit Monastery, where you will have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and then drive back to Leh, crossing Khardung La Pass. Overnight at Leh
One of the most picture-perfect high passes in Ladakh, Khardung La Pass lies on the way to Nubra Valley from Leh. Feel at top of the world at an altitude of 17,582 feet, Khardunga La is said to be the highest motorable pass in the world. Surrounded by snow and alluring mountains, Khardung La Pass is a treat to your eyes.
After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Chang La Pass 17,350 ft, the 3rd highest motorable road in the world. Arrive at camp. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and enjoy the beauty of the high altitude of Pangong Lake, surrounded by grey and brown mountains. Count the waves washing the shores of the colour changing Pangong Lake and be mesmerized by the different shades of blue from Azure to Navy Blue. Overnight at Pangong Lake.
Early morning, enjoy the picturesque view of sunrise on the lake. After breakfast, drive back to Leh, en route visit Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace. Overnight at Leh.
One of the vibrant and peaceful monasteries in Ladakh, Thiksey Monastery is a must-visit spot in Ladakh. Built-in 1665 by the King of Ladakh as his summer retreat house, Shey Palace is a must-visit place in Leh for its beautiful architecture and history.
