After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Thekkady , on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Thekkady.One of the world’s most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Alleppey, on arrival check in to the HouseBoat. Let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual - skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served on board. Overnight stay in the houseboat.

Traditionally, the houseboats were called Kettuvalom, which means a boat made by tying together pieces of wood. Not a single nail is used in the making of a Kettuvallom.The material used for the making of Kettuvallom is all from the nature-Jack wood planks are joined together with coir ropes and beaten coconut fibres. The wood commonly used to make Kettuvallom is "Anhili". Bamboo poles, bamboo mats, coir carpets etc is used for the making of Houseboats. These 80 feet long crafts have been adapted into luxuriously furnished houseboats. The interior of the houseboat is really unbelievable - It's a House on Water! Each houseboat is beautifully decorated with coir mattress on the floor. Houseboats normally have spacious living/dinning area and sun deck. It is attached with toilets, separate toilets for crew. Spacious passage and neat kitchen. Clean towel and blankets are provided. Three workers are appointed on the houseboat, one cook and other two to drive the houseboat.

Travel Basics
- Any customized/recommended tour itinerary posted on the website is only a proposed holiday outline. We are not holding any confirmed hotel reservations for your travel. The same is subject to availability at the time of booking. The quotation might change based on actual availability of the service.
- Indo Asia Holidays will inform you of any change in prices and only after your confirmation, proceed with booking. Cost will not be refunded for any un-utilized services.
- Weekend or other surcharges may be applicable over and above the package cost for the requested period. Indo Asia Holidays will inform you of such costs at the time of booking or before confirming the package.
- The client needs to make an advance payment as per the specific package terms at the time of confirming the tour and make the balance payment as per the payment conditions of the package.

Cancellation Charges Per Person
- You are eligible for a full refund for any cancellation request 30 days prior to departure. But, such a cancellation will incur a communication and processing charge of Rs. 2000 per pax.

- 30 - 25 days before departure: 25% of total cost
- 24 – 20 days before departure: 50% of total cost
- 19 – 10 days before departure: 75% of total cost
- Less than 10 days before departure: 100% of total cost
- In case of no show: 100%
