  Guwahati | Kaziranga National Park

  Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home to “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure.

  Kaziranga National Park

  Early morning, head to one of the zones of Kaziranga National Park the Elephant Safari. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then you might spot the tiger. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Return to the hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon, enjoy jeep safari through Kaziranga National Park. Return to the hotel.

  Elephant Safari is said to be the best ways to explore the Kaziranga National Park. The Safaris usually start early mornings and evenings. The best time would be to take an early morning one. The elephants take you to those parts of jungle where jeeps can’t go and they can get you the closest to the one-horned Rhinos.

  Kaziranga National Park | Shillong

  After breakfast, head to Shillong (4,900 ft.), known as the 'Scotland of the East". Enroute, visit Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. Arrive at Shillong and check in at your hotel.

  Excursion to Cherrapunjee

  After early breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. Explore the beautiful Nohkalikai Waterfalls, Mawsmai Caves. Evening return to Shillong, en route visit Elephanta Falls and Shillong peak for some breathtaking views.

Arrive at Guwahati and check in at the hotel. In the evening visit 'Kalakshetra', a place where Assamese history and culture is at the display.
